Located in Northern Tanzania, Masailand is a unique place which will fascinate the globetrotter hunter. Tormented but fertile land, its spectacular landscapes consisting of infinite plains dotted with mountains and volcanoes, are the theatre of a rich and dense life where the human being and the game live in perfect harmony. The SAFARIA hunting area is a pure jewel of vast plains articulated around an old volcano culminating 3000 meters altitude, offering breathtaking landscapes and surprising variation of biotopes. Several traditional Masai communities are living in the area, which will be met daily, thus giving to the safari an ethno cultural dimension. The territory hides the entire endemic species of Masailand: Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Fringe-Eared Oryx, Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelles and Masai Bushbuck as well as many others plains game species. Contrasting with the dry plains, the mountain that overhangs the territory is a land for unique hunting adventures, offering the possibility to organize forest expeditions in the altitude, hiking from a fly camp at the top of the mountain. The forests and the plains of the crater are magical places hiding mountain buffalos and top-trophies bushbucks as well as other rare species.
